| Finding your way to Priestley College How our out of town students find their journey
Greg
Daintith "I use WBT's 19 service and it takes a little longer than the scheduled timetable suggests. There is a regular good service from town to College but when the weather gets bad be warned these services get full quickly." Eddie
Dobson "The Warrington bus pass is very helpful and means I always have a way to get around the town, even outside College time, at no additional cost." John
Dilorenzo "I use the 420 Warrington Borough service from Newton and there is only one bus every hour, so you have to be pretty sure you catch it. There's another option too with the Arriva 360 service but students should be aware that this isn't covered by your bus pass. I find the Warrington Network Savers good value for money." Andrew
McGrail "The buses come often and at regular intervals. It is easy to get to their routes as they travel around the high streets. When you get into Warrington Interchange, there are plenty of buses that will get you to College on time." Martyn
Fisher "At the start of a new College year travel arrangements can be difficult but once this settles down things generally work. I prefer to use the Halton Borough 62 service from where I am based as it gets me into college very fast." Sarah
Griffiths "I travel in to Bank Quay station by train from Runcorn East and then walk to Priestley. Train times are regular, reliable and usually on time but do seem to be affected by price increases a lot. Buses are not the best option for me, purchasing a student rail card was ideal." Dan
Eardley "Buses are fairly regular and reliable from my area and don't take that long at all in getting to Warrington town centre. Bus passes are a bit of an expense but it makes it cheaper in the long run and it's convenient." |
